Dearborn County has various Permits available for citizens to download. To locate specific permits, please browse through the links below.

Online Building Permit Application  - Apply for a Building Permit online, just follow all instructions.

Highway Permits - The online application portal for Driveways is temporarily offline.  There is currently an upgrade in the program occurring.

Zoning Permits - The online application portal for Planning and Zoning is temporarily offline.  We are upgrading the system to allow for all necessary applications through our office to be available online.  Please contact the office at 812-537-8821.  If you need to apply for a permit the first few days of the new year 2026.  Sorry for any inconvenience this might cause.

Environmental Health Permits - Application for on-site system.

MS4 - Apply for an MS4 Permit through the online application process.  If you have any issues please call the MS4 Coordinator at (812) 532-2033
