NDBA Association members sponsor and organize the annual Bright Community Parade the last full weekend in July in conjunction with the Bright Community Festival. The festival is the major fundraiser for the Bright Volunteer Fire Department and the North Dearborn Rescue Unit. The parade originated as a way for businesses to promote an annual festival.

Each Christmas, a fully decorated and lighted Christmas tree adorns the main intersection and is provided and erected by association members and their families.

Lawrenceburg Rivertown Business & Professional Association

The Lawrenceburg Rivertown Business and Professional Association (LRBPA) was formed in 1995 as an outgrowth of the former Lawrenceburg Merchants Association formed in 1978. Reorganization has allowed the business association to represent a greater scope of business in Lawrenceburg.

With the influx of riverboat gambling into the community, the association expanded to support existing businesses as well as promote growth and revitalization of the business community. The association is working to retain businesses and recruit new businesses downtown to restore the city’s vitality.

Membership is open to any business, organization or individual in Lawrenceburg who supports the LRBPA’s purpose. Dues are based on the number of employees in a business.

Major association events include the annual spring festival in April and the Victorian Christmas in December. The association also sponsors sidewalk sales throughout the year.
